Chris Varrone, Founder and President of Riverview Consulting, Inc., has worked with 45 growth companies in the past 8 years, helping them develop their organizations, strategies, business relationships, and raise needed capital.

Chris’ personal mission is to repair the earth. Former Chief Strategist at $10B Vestas Wind Systems in Denmark, he focuses on wind, solar, energy storage, and waste-to-value companies. Recent engagements include:

GreenMantra Technologies, a Canadian company that transforms waste plastic into wax and other specialty chemicals Forge Nano, a Colorado company that nano-coats materials for Li+ batteries, tripling cycle life Chris serves on the Boards of Directors of solar developer, UGE International, (UGE.V) and Eocycle, an innovative wind turbine Manufacturer.

Before joining Vestas in 2008, Chris was a management consultant for McKinsey & Co. and served in a variety of executive roles in technology companies including German software maker, SAP. He served on the Board of Directors of the Louis August Jonas Foundation (Camp Rising Sun) from 1991 to 2005.

Chris holds an M.A. in Economics from Cambridge University and a B.A. in Political Science from Williams College. He was a Fulbright Scholar in Norway, and speaks fluent Norwegian and Danish.

Chris holds Series 63 and 82 licenses, and is affiliated with Silver Leaf Partners, a FINRA-registered broker-dealer in New York City.
